Part-time positions are currently available in Cobb, DeKalb, North Fulton, and Gwinnett counties
Senior Partners is looking for part-time “Senior Partners” to bring peace of mind to senior citizens by providing personalized, in-home services like: opening and sorting mail, bill-paying, telephone trouble-shooting, and financial organization in the metro Atlanta area. It’s part-time, rewarding work with flexible hours that can grow in the future.
As a “Senior Partner”, you will help seniors with the following activities:
- Daily Money Management: bill-paying, mail review, budgeting, bank and credit card statement reconciliation, etc.
- Opening and sorting mail
- Setting up a bill-paying system
- Reconciling bank and credit card statements
- Organizing and filing paperwork
- Negotiating with outside vendors
- Managing appointments
- Coordinating with other senior service providers
- Protecting your clients against abuse, fraud, and scams
- Taking care of other tasks as needed by the client
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years previous experience working with seniors required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous social work, banking, bookkeeping, or financial services experience required
- Must have a computer and home office that includes printer/scanner
- A smartphone, a clean driving record and reliable transportation are required
- Excellent phone, written, and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate good judgment as well as problem-solving, decision-making, and organized record-keeping skills
- Proficiency in computer skills including: typing, MS Office, internet, cloud-based applications, Word, Google Drive, and Quicken with the ability to learn new applications
- A patient, compassionate attitude and flexibility are essential
