What is Senior “Inbox” Management?

You may have heard of Daily Money Management (DMM) services – Senior “Inbox” Management is very similar.

We don’t just sort mail and pay bills for our clients. We look at our clients holistically and help them with important daily life decisions that go beyond regular DMM services. For example, we can:

Visit our clients if they end up in the hospital
Help them transition back home after a hospital stay
Help move our clients from one assisted living facility to another or into nursing care
Arrange housewarming or birthday parties for clients

We specialize in providing a high level of personalized service to our clients. As the founder of the company says, “We warm our client’s hearts and leave them with that ‘warm and fuzzy’ feeling inside.”

Who do you work with?

While our services can be beneficial to many types of clients, we specialize in working with seniors who don’t have anyone to help them with day-to-day life and money matters. Often, these are seniors whose adult children don’t have the time, the skill-set, or live too far away to help, and recent widows and widowers whose spouse took care of keeping up with the mail and bills.

Why seniors?

As the world changes, it becomes more difficult to keep up with new terminology, technology and choices that are available. Our “Senior Partners” specialize in translating confusing concepts and decisions facing seniors into simple language that can easily be understood — empowering seniors to make the best decisions for themselves.

How do you work?

We believe a personal touch is important. A lot of other Daily Money Managers manage personal financial questions only and like to work remotely.

Our “Senior Partners” meet with their clients face-to-face to check in and ensure their lives, as well as their personal finances, are in order.

How do you charge?

Our services are billed on an hourly basis and invoiced monthly. Payments are made by ACH payment on the first day of the month for the previous month’s activities. We have a minimum 2-hour, in-home visit time. After that, we bill in 15-minute increments.

Do you sign my checks?

Absolutely not! You are always in control of your checks, and we don’t have access to your accounts (unless we’re providing professional fiduciary services). We will help you fill out checks if you have trouble writing.

Are you insured?

Absolutely! We carry basic Business Liability Insurance, Errors & Omissions Insurance for Professional Fiduciaries, as well as a Fidelity Bond that covers our employees.

Also, all of our “Senior Partners” go through an intense interview screening process that includes a thorough local, state, and national criminal background check.

What areas of Atlanta do you cover?

Currently, our main areas of coverage are East Cobb, DeKalb, North Fulton (north of I-20), and Gwinnett counties as well as the cities of Canton, Cumming, and Woodstock.
