Barbara Scurry

Barbara Scurry grew up in Minneapolis, MN but has been enjoying the warmer climate of the Atlanta area since late 2000.

While doing sales and business development in nursing homes and marketing for a Continuing Care Retirement Community and a private-duty home care company, she developed a passion for working with senior citizens. In 2011, she combined that passion and her ability to organize chaos and started Senior Partners (formerly The Money Moxie).

Barbara has a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Spanish from Middle Tennessee State University (Go Blue Raiders!) and enjoys ballroom dancing and paper crafting in her spare time.

She lives and runs the company in Norcross, Georgia but also lives part-time in Charleston, South Carolina with her husband Darryl.

Jennifer Pradhan

In addition to her duties as the Administrative Assistant at Your Senior Partners, Jennifer Pradhan works as a freelance video editor and illustrator. She enjoys the balance between using her organizational skills and having fun with more creative hobbies.

Jennifer has a BFA in Illustration from Rochester Institute of Technology with a minor in Japanese Language and Culture. She has also completed an Associates Degree in TV Production from Chattahoochee Tech.

When not working, she practices and volunteers to teach Taido Martial Arts as a 2nd degree black belt and recently traveled to Japan to compete in the International Friendship Tournament in Shizuoka, Japan.

Most Likely To: Start another creative project.

Fun Random Fact: Interned at WSB TV and produced commercials that aired on Channel 2.

Marian Proper

Marian Proper comes from the business world of retail buying and wholesale sales of consumer goods and has a sharp eye for details and is caring and giving. She has gained a tremendous amount of first-hand experience dealing with her own parents life and money matters and wants to use that experience helping other seniors.

Marian’s background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Retailing from UGA (Go Bulldogs!) and a Continuing Education course in Gerontology at Kennesaw State. She volunteers her time with School Council, National Charity League, Meals on Wheels, and is an Alpha Chi Omega Advisor.

Most Likely To: Be playing outside at “the kids table”
