The Sandwich Generation.
I’m sure you’ve heard that term a lot recently. It refers to the millions of Americans who are “sandwiched” between their aging parents but have children or young adults they’re still supporting.
Imagine the difficulty trying to manage the day-to-day affairs of aging parents when most adult children find it difficult to keep up with their own day-to-day affairs!
I found an excellent article by Charles Passy who has first hand knowledge of what that struggle is like. He gives those stuck in the “sandwich” six lessons on how to handle the situation.
I simply couldn’t have said it better myself!

My only issue with the article is that when he discusses finding professionals and organizations that can help, he doesn’t mention daily money management!
